Elephants painted on silk in large perspex and gold frames in APPLECROSS, Western Australia for sale
This is a beautiful painting on cream silk of a group of white elephants featuring decorated saddles and headgear. Lovely shades of green, beige and gold.
There is an outer border of painted flowers in the same tones.
The inner painting is 91cm x 46cm with an outer frame measuring 109cm x 64cm, both frames connected by a backing of perspex. The frames are timber painted gold.
I have no idea who the artisit is as I bought it in Hong Kong 20 years ago. Selling because it does not suit my new house.
